Kennes+Elegeert architecten is a Belgium based architecture practice, established in 1980. The office completed several projects within the field of architecture, art and interior design, highly valuating ‘gesamtkunst’. They strongly believe in the durability of the city. Kennes+Elegeert has especially worked on reconversion projects, turning cultural heritage into nowadays musea, care centers and residences.
Ongoing projects are the reconversion of a 15th century convent into a care institute, nursery and residences, a 16th century mansion converted into residences and a new build care district of 28 houses and meeting centre.
